The Minnesota Rose Society was organized in 1939 to foster the hobby of growing roses in Minnesota and surrounding areas. The Minnesota Rose Society is affiliated with the American Rose Society, The Minnesota State Horticultural Society and the University of Minnesota Landscape Arboretum.

Dinner meeting are held the second Friday of May, September and November at various locations around the Minneapolis/St. Paul metropolitan area. The meeting begin at 6:00PM with a Social hour. Dinner is at 7:00PM followed by a short business meeting. The evenings program generally begins at 8:00PM.

Brunch meetings are held the second Saturday of January and March at various locations around the Minneapolis/St. Paul metropolitan area. Times vary.
